Thank Goodness Hannah's a Country Girl

I am sorry but she is the cutest thing ever...

Funny story that goes with this...Hannah loved hanging out with the boys and the boys loved to take the golf cart out, even though the charger was not working they would still try to see if it would work yet. so they would some out of the garage around the house and by the time they go to the other side this is what you saw. And as you can see Hannah loved every moment of it because she would have to push the gas down and steer it back to the garage. The orange bucket on there is for Hunter's Steer they were trying to avoid the walk down to the jungle where he is.

The Historic Alamo and Downtown

The picture to the left was this animated dinosaur and I told Hannah to look scared when he opened his mouth to her. She looks more like a damsal in distress to me. "Oh my dinosaur don't eat me"

I told Hannah to take a picture in Front of this muesum because her brother loves these books.

The Alamo, even though we did not get to take pictures inside we got to see some of Davy Crockett's gun and letter's he wrote. Hannah will have some things to talk about when she goes back to school.

Things are bigger in Texas so is this blog!!!

These three pictures are from the historic reverwalk down in San Antonio, The first picture of Hannah is of her enjoying the humidity I don't think she knew quite what to do with that. The Second is with Grandpa Sam and Hannah I loved getting to spend time together. The picture above is of one of the oldest buildings in San Antonio, my Aunt said it was the first to have air condioning. However the coolest thing about this picture is the gargoyles at the top of the building, and their mouth is a water spout for when it rains. It was straight up at of the Ghostbusters or something. And at the bottom of the building was these faces trying to lok scary to ward off any evil spirits, and that is what the gargoyles were for too. It all was a little creepy but cool. I would have loved to get a picture of the faces but we were in a moving boat so I had to choose.

Happy Birthday to Us!!! My Grandpa and I have our Birthday two days apart and even though we celebrated it a little early we had a great time. I love the smile on his face, this will be a forever treasured photo.

San Antonio in June

Hannah and I are currrently in Texas visiting my Grandpa Utley for his 88th Birthday! We are hanging ut at my Aunt Tami's house in Boerne,TX. Hannah is having so much fun hanging out with my 14 year old cousin Hunter and his friends. She has been riding a golf cart to feed the steer and a little red car just her size everywhere. (hopefully i will post pictures tomorrow of the golf cart and car) Hannah has been running around non stop until she collapses at about midnight.

The first day i got here on Thursday I got to spend some alone time with my Grandpa, I heard him tell a story about Nat King Cole kissing my Grandma like it was no big deal. He also told me he has sung at nearly 2000 funerals starting way back in 1941. For those of you that do not my Grandpa he will just bust out in song if you say something that has to do with a song, it feels like home when I listen to him.

Yesterday (Friday) My dad, My uncle Mike, My Aunt Tami , Uncle Tonywent to lunch and of course Hannah. We ate at a Mexican Resturant and enjoyed just hanging out. Did I mention after riding in my Grandpa's non-air condioned car how good it felt to be in an cooool resturant. It was only 102 Degrees with a million percent humidity (well at least it felt like it).

I have been so excited to spend this time with Hannah, she is growning up more and more each day...it is hard for her to have competion with the boy (Blake) He is getting older and gets to do more things and she does not realize that when he was her age he did not get to do half the stuff she does. Coby and Blake are in Montana on a mini vacation. I can't wait to take my next vacation with Coby in Maui in October (cross my fingers)
