Coby at Last

AHHH The leader of the Curtis Clan, finally graces us with his appearance on the blog!

SANTA!!!! I know him.

Ho Ho HO Merry Christmas!
poor Hannah had no idea what she wanted to ask Santa for, Rock Band that Blake talked her into, or a jeep that Mommy told her wouldn't fit into our garage.

IT"S SHOWTIME

Hannah's first Dance Recital was on Friday!!! It was so much fun, from make-up to lights, camera action.Hannah was so excited to have her make-up done, the lips is her favorite...however the hair part was quite traumatic.

Showing off for the camera!

Hannah using her vocals to sing out Annie's "Tomorrow"

She was in character for the depressed little orphan.

It is all about Hairspray's "You can't stop the beat" I thought Hannah had expressions..check out the girl to the left.

Fall Away With Me

Fall is my favorite time of year, so I dragged the kids up to Zions with me on Friday to take in the awesome colors. Coby and I went on Monday and I had to go back, the colors changed so much in those few days. Here are some of my favorites. Hannah was in the tree with beautiful pink leaves.

The Big Loser

Hannah lost her first tooth at the age of 6...we have been waiting for this big event, and she did it herself, she pushed it with her tongue and out it came. She has been so proud all day.

The other picture is when she got out of the bath and was so tired, she cuddled up in her robe and literally collapsed next to the toilet. She took a really long shower so I kept going to check on her and she was sitting down and when she saw me she said "oh it has been taking me so long because I keep falling asleep" I am glad I can still have these moments with her, and I can try to not have her grow up so quick.

Marathon 2007

Wow I did it...me yes me. I started to train in May to surprise my Dad and after many long sufferings and achievements the goal was achieved this day. My brothers were all there to route us on, geez I didn't know it was going to bring me so much attention, maybe I will do it again...okay I think I can find something else to get me some attention.

Vegas 2007

Ahh Vegas, there is nothing like it...literally. Just spent the weekend with my closest girlfriend Korie Lynn, who just turned 30 yesterday. We ate and layed by the pool and laughed. We met a few interesting people along the way, like a photographer, a magician, matchmaker, a weirdo or too, but HIGHLY entertaining to say the least.

We stayed at the Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa, and it was Fabulous to say the least. Here are some pictures so that you can see the sights as we did.

Half Marathon...I did it (barely)

I attempted my first race on Sept 1st. Did I mention I am only on an internship for running and I don't quite consider myself a runner just yet, and I am not sure about ever. But since I am running a marathon in one month from today, I better start acting like I am. It took me nearly three hours to finish (finished 2nd to last) the 13.1 mile trek, just me and Phil (who I met at the race) he was 71 and had a stroke 6 months ago, and he ended up finishing before me, I am still laughing about that one. needless to say ,now that I know what NOT to do for the real one, I consider it a learning experience and hope my Dad realizes this sacrifice for him.

Labor Day Weekend

We decided to visit Kacie and Tyler in H E double hockey sticks...i say that because it was 121 on Sunday. They have a cute place and it was fun to spend the time with them. Hannah and Savie wore eachother out. And Blake is so creative with his fruit by the foot, he made the time go by in the car.

The Lake is Great

We hung out at the lake for a day with just us...it was Abby's first experience there and it was a bonding experience, she jumped in the water than swam right back out, she seemed to like the rocks on the shore the best. Then she slept like a baby on the boat while Blake and I wakeboarded. Blake can go around the lake forever, I am getting better, I guess training for the marathon has had some benefits.

Balboa Island Fun Zone

We got to go to Balboa island, while we were in California and meet up with my good friend "Mags" there. It had been a long time...we rode the ferris wheel, Hannah did the carousal of course, we played in the arcade ate some lunch and had cold stone. Blake got to try the bungee jump on the trampoline, everyday I am realizing how old that kid truly is.

Orange County Fair

We got to go to the fair and experience the fair, Hannah LOVES carousals and wishes she could have a real horse...don't worry she tried out both there.

This is the end...my friend (of summer) a recap to 2007

We got to go visit David in his new place down in San Clemente, we got to hang out with Grandpa Sam, Uncle Sammy, Ashleigh and of course Khia. We went to the beach hung out and had smores.

new chapters

So I know it has been awhile since the last update...life is still crazy for us. We have also added a new member to the family,(because we weren't busy enough for a puppy) her name is "Abby" and she is an english mastiff and she will be "gynormous" as Hannah would say. Her Mom is 200 pounds!!! Enemies beware.
